The Teaching Artist/Direct Support Professional positions work collaboratively with Starlight artists to support their achievement of artistic, technical, personal, and community engagement goals through inclusive arts programming and individualized support. The Teaching Artist will contribute to facilitating artmaking activities, fostering creative skill development, supporting wellness and community participation, and maintaining an artist-centered studio environment. Responsibilities may also include activity planning, workshop facilitation, community engagement, and support for program operations and documentation. Specific positions may include additional responsibilities based on the artistic medium or area of program focus, including specialized arts instruction, community engagement activities, workshop facilitation, and increased coordination responsibilities within designated program areas.
