About The Position
Monroe County School District is accepting applications for the 2027-2028 school year. The district is located in the Florida Keys and offers a unique teaching environment. The district provides resources such as an employee resource guide and information about school locations. They also host "Get to Know Monroe" calls on Microsoft Teams every Wednesday afternoon from 4:00-5:00 pm EST to provide an overview of the district and answer questions. The district encourages applicants to begin the Florida certification process early, as it can take up to 90 days. Assistance with certification is available. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening.
Requirements
- Verified years of full-time, certified, K-12 teaching experience.
- Completion of background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
- Official transcripts showing degree(s) conferred.
