About The Position
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to lead a class of students through a successful school year by creating and implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. The Teacher creates a welcoming learning environment and provides students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and passionate about teaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- State teaching certification.
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, and ability to closely adhere to them.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience teaching at the K–12 level.
Responsibilities
- Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards.
- Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills.
- Prepare necessary learning materials.
- Assign homework.
- Take attendance.
- Grade assignments and provide feedback.
- Document students’ learning progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment.
- Report and document behavioral incidents.
