About The Position

The Part-Time Physical Education (PE) Teacher at Annunziata Learning Center is responsible for providing a dynamic and engaging physical education program that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and overall well-being. This role supports students in developing healthy habits while fostering a positive and faith-centered learning environment.

Requirements

• Experience teaching physical education or working with children
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to supporting a faith-based educational environment
• Pre-employment screening including criminal background check, Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, employment and educational licensure/certification verification, health screening, and any other screenings deemed necessary for employment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Education, or related field
• Teaching certification

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that promote fitness, coordination, and teamwork
• Engage students in a variety of activities, including sports, games, and structured movement exercises
• Promote good sportsmanship, cooperation, and respectful behavior among students
• Ensure student safety during all physical activities, both indoors and outdoors
• Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of all students
• Maintain an organized and safe physical education space and equipment
• Assess student participation and progress as appropriate
• Collaborate with school staff to support student development
• Follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Model positive behavior and reinforce Christian values
