About The Position

CoxHealth is seeking passionate and dynamic individuals to join their team as Teachers at the Branson Learning Center. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment and promoting the positive development of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. The Teacher will assist Lead Teachers in planning and coordinating activities, implementing learning objectives, and ensuring a nurturing atmosphere for early childhood growth and learning. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children, seeing them reach their full potential, and collaborating with a team that fosters continuous learning.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, organization, prioritizing, decision-making and planning skills.
Able to perform in highly stressful situations, including high volume times such as morning drop off times and during overlap (start of 2nd shift) drop off/afternoon pickup times.
Health Screening required.
Successful annual clearance from Family Care Safety Registry.
An annual TB test required.
Initial T-Dap Immunization.
Must obtain Heartsaver Pediatric CPR/FA/AED certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
Promote the positive development of all children.
Assist Lead Teachers in planning, directing, or coordinating academic and non-academic activities of children.
Teach and carry out learning objectives for all ages and/or classrooms.
Greet parents and children at drop off/pick up.
Assist with daily tasks such as diapers/potty training, laundry, cleaning tables, chairs, diapering areas, and toys.
Stock supplies for the next day.
Comply with state-mandated child/staff ratios and all other state, federal, and Accreditation regulations.
