About The Position

The primary teacher plays a critical role in supporting student learning and achievement within the South Shore Regional Centre for Education. Requirements

• Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification
• Bachelor of Education - Elementary
• University education in French OR a minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching a minimum of 50% Core French, French Immersion, or Intensive French within the last five (5) years with positive performance appraisals and/or references
• Minimum OPI Rating of Superior
• Satisfactory Child Abuse Register Check and Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Checks

Nice To Haves

• Professional development in french (Core, Intensive, French Immersion)
• Experience teaching primary french immersion
• Experience teaching grades p-3
