The Teacher is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times, establishing and implementing an active learning environment, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families. This role involves creating daily routines, assessing children's development, planning and implementing lesson plans, and maintaining open communication with parents. The Teacher also practices daily health routines, maintains records, and assists with child safety procedures on buses. Additional responsibilities include providing general assistance at the center, adhering to confidentiality policies, attending meetings and training, and performing overnight travel as required. The Teacher is a mandated reporter for child abuse/neglect and must pass required physical examinations.
