Teachers at New Albany KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum in a way that meets each child’s unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide quality care and education, support center goals, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Ability to assume low-level postures to allow physical and visual contact with children.
Ability to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
