About The Position

The Carrie Elligson Gietner School (ECH School) is an alternative school option for students in grades K-12 who struggle in a traditional learning environment. The school enrolls youth from our residential treatment program as well as qualifying day students from the surrounding community. Beyond academics, ECH School’s small class sizes and integrated therapy programs provide essential support for students with behavioral needs. Our licensed clinical social workers provide daily therapy to help students with their social and emotional challenges. We strive to provide day students with the tools and life skills they need to one day return to their home district. The Teacher leads a classroom of up to 10 students, grades K-12. Teachers at ECH work hand in hand with treatment teams to provide a safe, trauma-informed learning environment for every student. They provide individualized instruction and support, empowering their students to reach their fullest potential.
