About The Position

The Goddard School is looking for enthusiastic, passionate classroom teachers for infant through PreK. The ideal candidate is a highly qualified childhood educator who can use creativity and the Goddard Developmental Guidelines to create unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way. The candidate should also possess strong leadership skills, be an excellent communicator, and be able to motivate and inspire children positively. The Goddard School is a renowned program with a Piaget-based foundation (Learning through Play) and a leader in the franchised preschool industry, focused on fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated interest, commitment, and ability to challenge students at all levels
Evidence of strong, positive student and classroom management
Proficiency with classroom technology (e.g., computers, etc.)
Must be able to sustain a high level of energy
Team Player

Nice To Haves

CDA, Associate or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
Experience in a licensed center is preferred

Bend to perform various tasks numerous times throughout the day.
