About The Position

This role involves collaborating with a lead teacher to implement early childhood lessons and activities for toddlers. The position requires maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment, promoting children's development across various domains, and supporting positive behavior management. The teacher will also be involved in observing and documenting student progress, communicating with parents, and ensuring adherence to school health and safety protocols. Providing individualized support for students with diverse needs and attending professional development are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a preschool or child care learning facility is required.
• State Trainings for Childcare.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement age-appropriate early childhood lessons and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Engage children in activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Reinforce established classroom routines and positive behavior management strategies.
• Assist in observing and documenting student progress and behavioral milestones.
• Support parent-teacher communication and the preparation of progress reports.
• Uphold all school health, hygiene, and safety protocols.
• Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs and developmental levels.
• Attend required staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
