About The Position

Position Summary: Starpoint’s SPIN Childcare and Education Center is seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers (PDIS Qualified) and Teacher Assistants to join our early childhood education team. These positions support the growth, development, and safety of young children in a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment. Teacher (PDIS Qualified) Responsibilities: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Colorado Early Learning standards Maintain compliance with Colorado Department of Early Childhood and PDIS requirements Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members Ensure licensing regulations and health/safety standards are followed Teacher Assistant Responsibilities: Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities and routines Assist with supervision and engagement of children Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment Participate in implementing lesson plans and activities Foster positive interactions with children and staff About Starpoint: Starpoint is dedicated to providing high-quality services and supports to individuals and families in our community. Requirements

  • Must meet Colorado PDIS (Professional Development Information System) qualifications for Early Childhood Teacher
  • Experience working in a licensed childcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with young children preferred
  • Ability to meet Colorado licensing requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher Aide
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
