About The Position

Academies of Math and Science – Prince Campus is hosting an in-person Hiring Event on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, seeking passionate, mission-driven educators and support staff for the upcoming school year. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity for on-the-spot interviews with school leadership. The organization is actively hiring for several instructional and support positions and is looking for candidates committed to academic excellence, high expectations, and student success. Current vacancies include 4th Grade Math & Science Teacher, Middle School Science Teacher, Middle School Math Teacher, Special Education Teachers, Paraprofessionals, and Special Education Paraprofessionals. Candidates with experience in high-performing charter schools, Title I environments, or diverse student populations are strongly encouraged to apply. The event will allow candidates to meet directly with school leadership, participate in interviews and potential instructional discussions/demos, learn about the AMS mission and instructional model, and potentially move forward quickly in the hiring process. Early registration is encouraged, though walk-ins are welcome. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (for Teacher Candidates)
  • Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain certification (for Teacher Candidates)
  • Demonstrated commitment to student achievement and academic excellence (for Teacher Candidates)
  • Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills (for Teacher Candidates)
  • Passion for working with diverse student populations (for Teacher Candidates)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (for Paraprofessional Candidates)
  • Ability to support instructional and behavioral needs of students (for Paraprofessional Candidates)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in high-performing charter schools
  • Experience working in Title I environments
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Prior experience supporting students in a classroom setting (preferred for Paraprofessional Candidates)
  • Experience teaching or supporting students in a Title I or charter school environment
  • Experience supporting students with special needs and/or English Language Learners
  • Strong data-driven instruction and student engagement practices
