About The Position

Child Focus is seeking dedicated early childhood professionals to serve as a Seasonal/Part-Time Teacher in a Preschool aged classroom implementing a research-based curriculum. Requirements

An Associate’s degree in Early Childhood is required
Minimum of 1-year experience working in professional classroom setting for children ages 3-5
Applicant must submit to a background check, physical and drug test upon hire.

Head Start or Early Head experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of classroom and environment.
Engaging with children and fostering learning and growth.
Maintaining good relationships and communication with families.
Implement Creative Curriculum for Preschool with fidelity and utilize Conscious Discipline strategies and works with asst. teacher to develop and implement weekly lesson plans.
Use strategies for behavior management
Integrate IEP’s or Behavior Action Plans for children with diagnosed or suspected special needs
