Provide exceptional instruction to assigned students while working within the established policies and procedures of the district. This role involves establishing and implementing classroom procedures, preparing detailed lesson plans aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards, and ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Plans. The teacher will maintain an orderly classroom, manage student discipline, and collaborate with administration and other professionals. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate student records, providing feedback to students and parents, utilizing data to guide instruction, adapting curriculum as needed, and providing a technology-enriched learning environment. The teacher will also coordinate the work of assistants, parents, and volunteers.
