About The Position

Applications are now being accepted for Lower School Teacher’s Assistant – Third Grade for the 2026-2027 School Year. Applications are now being accepted for the following position for the 2026-2027 School Year: Lower School Teachers Assistant – Third Grade – Part Time (5 hours per day)

Requirements

• Teacher’s Assistant should be experienced and knowledgeable in elementary education.
• Teacher’s Assistant should have an interest in and ability to contribute to extracurricular activities.
• Three or more years of experience required.
• Equivalency: Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience may be considered in place of the above requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• With direction from classroom teacher, work in small groups or one-on-one to assist in differentiation of instruction and meeting the needs of each child.
• Provide regular feedback to the classroom teacher regarding the performance and behavior of students.
• Assume teacher’s role when he/she must leave the room for short periods of time.
• Supervise recess.
• Perform clerical duties as required.
• Enter grades into electronic grading system.
• Carry out any other duties and tasks assigned by the teacher or Lower School Director.
• Refer parents’ questions concerning progress of individual children to the appropriate teacher.
