Teacher's Assistant (Paraprofessional)
About The Position
RFK Community Alliance is a therapeutic day school that provides educational and clinical services to students with diverse social emotional, behavioral, mental health, and learning disabilities. Our educational and related services support students to reach milestones such as graduation, the transition to post-secondary educational or vocational opportunities, or a return to their local school district. Requirements
- High School diploma is required.
- Must be 21 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Interest in developing a team atmosphere with the classroom teacher and other teacher’s assistants.
Responsibilities
- Work as a professional partner with the classroom teacher by assisting in implementing and evaluating daily lesson plans.
- Provide instruction and guidance to students, helping them meet their academic, social, and emotional development established in their Individualized Education Program.
