Teacher's Aide / Child Development Center
About The Position
RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Teacher's Aide position to join our Child Development Center team in Lancaster. This role involves working as a professional partner with the classroom teacher to provide instruction and guidance to students, assisting in their academic, social, and emotional development. The Teacher's Aide will help create a developmentally appropriate curriculum according to guidelines established by the Child Development Center and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), incorporating strategic plans, policies, and values (TEACH Principles).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- EEC Teacher certified preferred
Responsibilities
- Work as a professional partner with the classroom teacher.
- Provide instruction and guidance to students.
- Assist in students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Assist in creating a developmentally appropriate curriculum according to guidelines established by the Child Development Center and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
- Incorporate strategic plans, policies, and values (TEACH Principles).
