About The Position
Create a vibrant learning community for children in a high school Band & Orchestra program. Educate the whole child intellectually, emotionally, and physically. Plan instructional needs of all children using a constructivist approach to teaching and learning; implement a variety of assessments; establish good relations with parents, students, and staff; attend all pertinent faculty, parent and school meetings; other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of best practices in teaching
- Oregon teaching license in assigned area(s) and proper endorsements
- Meets Highly Qualified requirements for subject(s) assigned

- Planning for the instructional needs of all students
- Attending to the special needs of students
