About The Position
This is an open-ended application pool for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing position for the 2026-2027 school year. All applicants must submit a Sign Language Screening request. This pool will close when all positions have been filled. For specific communication requirements related to this K-12 Special Education position, please contact Paula Watkins-Baker.
Requirements
- Must possess or be able to acquire by time of appointment a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
- Must be certified in relevant subject area.
- Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as listed on the appropriate position vacancy announcement.
- Must complete the entire three (3) year work history in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
- Must submit a Sign Language Screening request.
