About The Position
TAFE NSW is seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Health Care professionals at our Orange campus. This role involves some travel to conduct workplace-based assessments and support students in real-world learning environments. Bring your industry expertise and enthusiasm for health care to the classroom, helping students develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to achieve their career goals and succeed in the workforce. As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will deliver high-quality training and facilitate engaging learning experiences across Diploma of Nursing and Human Services Assistance, supporting students to achieve positive educational and employment outcomes. You will create flexible, inclusive, and learner-centred environments that encourage participation, skill development, and success.
Requirements
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills.
- At minimum hold a Bachelor of Nursing, and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
- Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing.
- Be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
