About The Position

BCIT is seeking a dedicated Teacher of English to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in English and demonstrate strong knowledge of the subject area and effective teaching practices. The candidate should have the ability to foster a positive learning environment, engage students in meaningful instruction, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.

Requirements

• Valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in English
• Strong knowledge of the subject area and effective teaching practices
• Ability to maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to working with a diverse student population
• Criminal history background check required
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required
• Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
• Physical & drug testing required
