About The Position

Burlington County Institute of Technology Medford Campus is seeking qualified candidates for a Teacher of Cosmetology. This is a long-term replacement position, running from December 1, 2026, to June 21, 2027. The ideal candidate will possess a valid NJDOE CTE Certificate or be eligible to obtain one, along with a current cosmetology-hairstyling license from the New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling. The role requires demonstrated knowledge of the subject specialty, effective teaching methods, the ability to maintain a positive learning environment, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid NJDOE CTE Certificate or eligibility
• Current cosmetology-hairstyling license issued by the New Jersey Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling
• Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
