This position involves providing teaching and/or training services to students in instrumental guitar within a school setting. The role requires planning and implementing a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students, while creating a classroom environment conducive to learning. The teacher will guide the learning process, establish high expectations for academic success and classroom behavior, and employ various instructional techniques. Responsibilities include identifying special needs, assessing student accomplishments, maintaining records, and upholding school rules and policies. The teacher will also participate in faculty meetings, strive for professional growth, and assist in preparing data for reports and interventions. This role includes duties such as chaperoning, counseling, and other responsibilities that are part of the school's service in loco parentis.
