As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include: Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program. Offer a range of experiences and activities for children, including songs, games, and storytelling sessions. Conduct activities that introduce math and literacy concepts. Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities. Establish routines and provide positive guidance. Encourages students’ positive self-image and supports individuality, independence, and creative expression. Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable. Facilitate the Tinkerworks program with all enrolled students. Maintains accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students. Maintains ratios at all times, keeps attendance records of children throughout the day. Train and supervise Teacher Assistants within the classroom. Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children can understand. Ensure equipment and the facility are clean, well-maintained, and safe at all times. Maintain communication with parents. Maintain demonstration logs and lessons. Assist in planning school-wide events and curriculum. Create and update games and workshops. Participate in parent/teacher conferences throughout the school year to discuss the child’s progress. Attend all weekly staff meetings and weekly teacher curriculum meetings. Maintains confidential student, parent, and/or school information in accordance with company policies. Performs all such related and non-related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor and/or the Company CEO.
