Teacher II, Child Care
About The Position
The Classroom Teacher II at WKUCCC will maintain a teaching position of children birth through five years old. The primary responsibility is to provide a safe, secure, healthy environment for young children. The teacher will be responsible for maintaining the Head Start and Child Care requirements. The teacher will implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, learning experiences, conduct developmental screening, on-going assessment, and engage families in their child's growth and development. The teacher will also participate in required training sessions which may occur in the evening or occasional Saturday.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in early childhood education or related degree
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Experience with young children
