About The Position

The teacher works in cooperation with the assistant teacher to provide a learning environment that stimulates the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child enrolled, as well as maintaining a clean, safe, prepared environment.

Requirements

• New York State Certification Professional BIRTH -GRADE 2 or Permanent PRE-K-6 required
• Two Years Early Childhood Education teaching experience
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and be able to work in a team
• Must be multi-tasked and able to prioritize competing demands
• Comprehensive knowledge of early childhood education
• Ability to creatively motivate and engage students' interests
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and writing skills required

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish a plus
