About The Position

Academy High School (grades 9-12) is seeking a High School English Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is part of the Secondary Teaching/English category. Academy High School focuses on developing students' problem-solving and critical-thinking skills through challenging engineering and biomedical courses, with an emphasis on science, technology, math, and engineering. The school also offers a Health Sciences Pathway within the District's CTE program, providing foundational knowledge in biology and anatomy for students interested in careers such as nurse practitioner, dental hygienist, and physical therapy aide. The school is committed to fostering a rigorous culture of learning and supporting all students, including English Language Learners and those performing below grade level.

Requirements

Colorado teaching license with an appropriate English endorsement required.
