About The Position

This position is for a Classroom Teacher for Grades 6-8, focusing on Computer Science for the 2026-2027 school year at Dutchtown Middle. Requirements

Hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or meet the district's professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments in accordance with established guidelines.
Instruct and monitor students.
Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
Manage student behavior inside and outside the classroom according to established guidelines.
Provide appropriate and meaningful feedback on student work.
Observe and assess student performance and development.
Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development.
Assign and grade classwork, homework, assessments, and assignments.
Participate in district, school, department, and parent meetings.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
