About The Position
Tavares High School is seeking an ESE Intensive Support (IST) Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year. This role involves providing specially designed instruction to students, primarily those with an ASD or InD, who are working on Florida Standards or alternate achievement standards (Access Points). Instruction may take place in a separate class, resource room, or general education setting. Tavares High School is located near downtown Tavares, known as "America's Seaplane City," with a seaplane base on Lake Dora. The school has approximately 80 teachers and 1,500 students. The mission of Tavares High School is to prepare students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners who will make positive contributions to society.
Requirements
- Elementary Ed/ESE Certification Required
