About The Position

Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for an elementary classroom teaching position that is available at Harding Avenue Elementary School for the 2026
– 2027 school year. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach at the elementary school level.
• Possess ability to effectively assess student learning and use results to plan and implement appropriate instruction.
• Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance learning.
• Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework.
• Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students.
• Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Engage and collaborate effectively with parents and families.
• Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities.
