About The Position

This position is for a Teacher: Early Childhood Evaluation Team for Summer 2026. The role is contingent on enrollment, funding, and programming. The salary is per diem at an hourly rate, funded by the General Fund within the Special Education and Related Services department. The work schedule will be determined by the Director of Special Education and Related Services, commencing in June 2026 after school ends and running for up to 20 days.

Requirements

• Presently employed as an Early Childhood Teacher.
• Knowledge of Early Childhood assessments
• Working knowledge of compliance and IEP development.
• Expertise in the utilization of the Special Education and related databases and technology.
• Adept at data searches and document upload.
• Willingness to work in any school.
• Demonstrated commitment towards maintaining a compliant caseload.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience performing above duties.
• Experience working with early intervention agencies and the preschool population.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to Executive Director of Special Education and Related Services and/or her designee.
• Conduct identified teacher assessments to assist in the determination of eligibility of Pre-K students.
• Attend Team meetings.
• Development of Individualized Educational Plans for children qualifying for services.
• Assist with assignments for Special Education PreK students.
