Teachers are never working in isolation. They are part of a thoughtful system that supports both students and educators. We are looking for an Elementary Teacher who believes that strong relationships are the foundation of learning. The right candidate will create a classroom where students feel known, challenged, and encouraged to grow both academically and socially.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Teachers will need to obtain Pennsylvania certification
- The school will support staff in completing the required coursework and process for Pennsylvania certification
Nice To Haves
- Content area teaching certificate is preferred but not required at the time of hire
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Create a classroom where students feel known, challenged, and encouraged to grow both academically and socially.
- Work closely with a collaborative team including social workers, behavior specialists, and clinical leaders to understand each student, problem-solve challenges, and create supportive learning environments.
- Engage students in learning by fostering an environment where they feel safe enough to take academic risks.
