About The Position

Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations. This position may require teaching an additional period beyond the base contract, with additional compensation for instructing this period. This amount is considered part of the salary for Florida Retirement System purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program.
  • Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in field or District CTE Certification OR Valid statement of eligibility.
  • Industry Certification/License when applicable.
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting and Level II background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
