This position is for a Biology Teacher within the Paterson Public Schools. The role requires a candidate who can effectively teach biology, work with adolescents, and utilize data to drive instruction. Requirements

• Hold a New Jersey Biology Teacher certificate (a Bilingual certificate is a plus).
• Have excellent experience in teaching and working with adolescents.
• Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA.
• Effective instructional practices and strategies.
• Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction.
• Experience working with high school students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character.
• Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others.
• Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community.

Nice To Haves

• A Bilingual certificate is a plus.
