To provide individualized instruction as mandated by individual student IEPs. This role involves direct services and instruction, administration of assessments, modification of assignments, collaboration with parents and staff, and completion of diagnostic and progress monitoring components. The teacher will also be responsible for testing students, entering diagnostic information, attending meetings, and developing transition plans. Additionally, the role includes collaborative grade reporting, management of subject grades, creation of data-driven goals, monitoring of case load, and ensuring IEP services are implemented. The teacher will also provide accommodations and modifications to general education staff and attend contract meetings and professional development.
