About The Position

The position's goal is to serve as a support person for students, teachers, staff, and parents related to the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective behavior management strategies at school and home to promote student success. This role is associated with a Special Grant/Funding (Title I) and has a Requisition ID of 23059. The work location is Blanche Ely High in Pompano Beach.

Requirements

• An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate subject area related to the assignment with valid Florida certification.
• Five (5) years of successful teaching work experience.
• OR An earned master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate subject area related to the assignment with valid Florida certification.
• Three (3) years of successful teaching work experience.
• Previous work experience which demonstrated the ability to work effectively with behavioral/descriptive/disorderly students.
• Ability to work cooperatively with peers.
• Prior experience which documents the ability to communicate effectively.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
