About The Position

This position is for a Classroom Teacher responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning. The teacher will develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments in accordance with established guidelines. Responsibilities include instructing and monitoring students, using relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction, managing student behavior, providing feedback on student work, observing and assessing student performance, maintaining accurate records, and assigning and grading student work. The role also involves participating in various meetings and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or meet the district's professional qualifications.
  • Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
  • Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
  • Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
  • Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
  • Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in district, school, department, and parent meetings.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
