About The Position

Taking applications for future openings for Year Round and School Year Positions. We will train you! No experience required, just have a desire to work with young children. Earn more once you complete and pass the certification! No cost to you! Minimum Starting Pay of $20.03 per hour plus additional compensation. Early Childhood Educator Workforce Salary Supplement Program Eligible. Annual Performance Merit Bonus. Annual Cost of Living Increase. Generous Tuition Assistance. No experience? No Problem. In addition all classroom staff receive an additional monthly stipend. $2000.00 Hiring Bonus. Annual Performance Merit Bonus. Annual Cost of Living Increase (as determined by federal government). Promise Early Education have both Year Round Full Time and Part Year (late August- Early June) positions available. We are in need of both Head Start and Early Head Start Teacher Assistants. Early Head Start Teacher Assistants will be primarily with children 0-3 years old. Head Start Teacher Assistant will be primarily with children 3-5 years old.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Child Development Credential (CDA) is required
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Computer skills are required
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Assist classroom teachers with classroom management
  • Fill in when the Teacher is out of the classroom
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, get down on the floor with children for floor time activities
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Computer skills are required
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form
