About The Position
A YMCA teacher assistant will help with taking attendance, supervision of students, documenting student progress, teaching small groups, planning curriculum, attending trainings, classes and meetings, listening to and reading to children, helping children to complete tasks, overseeing students during lunch time, rest and outdoor play, and communicating with parents about their children's days and needs.
Requirements
- enjoys working with children
- willing to work along with coworkers to ensure the safety and well being the students in the center
- assisting in teaching a literacy based curriculum
