The Teacher Assistant will work under the supervision of the Classroom Teacher to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily plan in accordance with assigned UMOS curriculum, policies, and procedures. This role involves active supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times, maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment, and collaborating with the teacher and other specialists to support each child's educational and developmental needs. The Assistant Teacher will also work with families, communicate professionally, and ensure compliance with various program standards, including the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and health and safety protocols. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
