About The Position
Lakeside Bundle of Joy Child Development Centers is holding open interviews for inspired and well-qualified teachers/assistants at their Richmond, VA location. They are looking for qualified candidates for the Lead Teacher, Teacher, and Assistant Teacher programs. The role involves embracing Cadence’s philosophy, creating a nurturing, growth-filled space for every child, collaborating with the team to craft engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons, cheering on kids' interests, ensuring safety, and turning play into learning adventures. The position also focuses on fostering social skills and behaviors that set kids up for success, and sharing ideas to design a daily schedule that is fun and enriching. Cadence Education is a leader in early childhood education with over 325 schools across 30 states and 30+ years of expertise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum 6 months’ experience as a preschool teacher or in a licensed daycare.
- High level of flexibility and willingness to work within business hours.
- Flexible and ready to shine during business hours.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a preschool teacher preferred.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills preferred.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or college degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
