About The Position

The Middle School teacher assistant is responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, responsible adults under the direction of the classroom teacher/team. This team member will work with all middle school teachers and students. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements

High School Degree- required
Ability to teach appropriate grade-level curriculum
Ability to establish collaborative relationships with the assigned teacher or grade-level teaching staff
Ability to work tactfully and effectively with students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
Display evidence of an educational philosophy in agreement with that of Holy Family Catholic Academy.
Display an ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor's Degree- preferred
