Under the supervision of the Senior Program Manager of Education and Inclusion and the Site Manager, the Teacher Assistant Floater is responsible for providing support across various classrooms and program sites within the Tri-County service area. This position serves as a support role, with assignments subject to change based on each center site and classroom's specific needs. The Teacher Assistant Floater plays a critical role in assisting classrooms in meeting Head Start Performance Standards and adhering to licensing regulations, while also ensuring appropriate teacher-child ratios are maintained. The Teacher Assistant Floater provides support to teaching staff to facilitate daily educational activities, manage classroom operations, and supervise children. Daily assignments may fluctuate based on program requirements, staffing coverage, or specific classroom support needs. The Teacher Assistant Floater is required to travel between facilities and programs to assist as necessary.
