About The Position
Full-time Teacher Assistant/Driver position needed for students with a behavioral and social/emotional dis-regulation in West Haven, CT. This position is in an ACES program located within Seth Haley Elementary School in West Haven. ACES West Haven Collaborative is a collaborative program between ACES and West Haven Public Schools serving high school aged students with behavior and social/emotion disabilities. Individual must possess strong leadership qualities such as: creativity and initiative and have good written and oral communication skills. Experience with children and behavioral management system required. This is a full-time 10 month position.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Experience with children
- Experience with behavioral management system
Nice To Haves
- Prior successful work experience in a similar position
- College experience or passing score on paraprofessional assessment test (Parapro)
