Under general supervision, teachers approved SFPS curriculum to students of all abilities, promoting artistic growth and providing appropriate art activities. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a New Mexico teaching license with a visual arts endorsement. The role involves managing a classroom, differentiating instruction, collaborating with other teachers, and utilizing computer skills. The teacher will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, assessing students, coordinating with external arts organizations, ordering and maintaining materials, displaying student art, attending faculty meetings, and ensuring student supervision. The position is for the 2026-2027 school year with a 0.20 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) and a 9-month contract.
