Requirements

• A high school diploma is required.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in child care, child development, or education is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in the supervision and management of children in the school, preschool, or early intervention programs.
• Work one on one with children to assist with daily activities in the classroom.
• Attend to the physical needs of students including mobility needs, recess support, daily and functional living skills, etc.
• Helps to maintain an organized classroom environment by managing student behavior, implementing classroom rules, and supporting transitions between activities.
• Collect data and write progress notes.
