Teacher Aide - Part Time
About The Position
UCP Heartland's Child Development Center is seeking a part-time Teacher Aide to support children's learning, development, and preparation for kindergarten. The aide assists the lead teacher, supports classroom work with therapists and developmental activities, and participates in Parent-Teacher conferences. The role helps create and maintain a healthy environment that fosters children's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development while respecting each child's dignity and contribution. The aide also sets and documents children's classroom goals. The position is scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for 18 hours weekly.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience working with children.
