Teacher Aide - Hourly
About The Position
Assumption-St. Bridget School is seeking a full-time instructional aide for a primary grade classroom. We are looking for an aide with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This is a full time position, 8 AM-4 PM Monday-Friday. The hourly rate starts at $26/hr. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Work directly with students in whole group, small group, or one-on-one instruction.
- Carry out ARA benchmark assessments and data entry with team of IAs, under direction of Learning Specialist.
- Participate in all related professional development.
- Clerical tasks.
- Correcting of work.
- Inputting into Student Information System (SIS) for attendance, grading and assignments.
- Taking kids to and from specialist classes.
- Recess duty.
- Car loop duty.
- Coordinating and participating in field trips.
- Managing online sign-ups for parent volunteers.
- Assisting with online communication to parents overseen by lead teacher.
- Helping with physical environment of the classroom, i.e. bulletin boards, set up and break down.
