About The Position
Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented PRN Teacher! This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs for all assigned, hospitalized children and adolescents. The teacher will maintain regular communication with school personnel and attending physicians regarding assignments, test results, special education needs, and behavioral reports within the hospital’s educational setting. Additionally, the teacher is responsible for administering and reporting approved testing instruments ordered by attending physicians or given by the classroom teacher to affected personnel. The position requires availability for full hospital and departmental orientation, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120-bed acute psychiatric care facility providing psychiatric treatment for various mental health conditions.
Requirements
- Valid teaching license/certificate.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of a four-year accredited institution.
- 1-3 years experience in the behavioral health setting.
